Note: This English version is provided for the convenience of English-speaking users.
In the event of any legal questions or discrepancies, only the
German version of the Widerrufsbelehrung and AGB is decisive and legally binding.
1. No statutory right of withdrawal for passenger transport
Our services are passenger transport services carried out on a specific date or within a specified time frame.
For such contracts, there is no statutory right of withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht) for consumers under
Section 312g (2) No. 9 of the German Civil Code (Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch – BGB).
This means that the usual 14-day cancellation right for distance contracts (online bookings, telephone bookings etc.)
does not apply to our transfer services, as the journey is bound to a concrete date and time.
2. Contractual cancellation terms
Regardless of the absence of a statutory right of withdrawal, we grant our customers the following
contractual cancellation options – as also set out in our
Terms & Conditions:
-
Cancellation up to 24 hours before the agreed pick-up time:
free of charge. -
Cancellation less than 24 hours before the pick-up time:
we charge 50% of the agreed fare. -
No-show without cancellation (the vehicle has been dispatched and the passenger does not appear):
we charge 100% of the agreed fare.
The exact rules stated in the booking confirmation and our
Terms & Conditions always prevail.
3. Time of receipt of cancellation
For the purpose of calculating the relevant time limits, the time at which we receive your cancellation
is decisive, not the time at which you send it.
If you cancel by e-mail, the time of receipt on our mail server is decisive.
For telephone cancellations, the time of the call during our business hours is relevant.
4. How to cancel a booking
You can cancel a confirmed booking as follows:
- by e-mail to: info@minivanberlin.com
- by telephone: +49 176 62948255
Please always provide the following information when cancelling:
- your full name,
- date and time of the journey,
- pick-up address,
- booking or reference number (if available).
We recommend that you cancel in written form (e-mail) so that you have proof of the cancellation
and the time of receipt.
5. Rebooking instead of cancellation
In many cases, a rebooking (change of time, date or route) is possible instead of a full cancellation,
subject to availability.
If a rebooking results in a longer route, additional waiting time or extra effort, we may charge
additional costs. We will inform you of any such extra charges before confirming the rebooking.
6. Special conditions for group and long-distance bookings
For group bookings, long-distance journeys or special services (e.g. multi-day bookings,
events, trade fairs), different cancellation rules and deposit arrangements may apply.
Any such special conditions will be indicated in our offer and/or in your individual booking confirmation
and take priority over the general rules in this Cancellation Policy if they differ.
7. Refunds
If you are entitled to a (partial) refund after cancellation in accordance with this Cancellation Policy or our Terms & Conditions,
we will normally refund the amount using the same payment method that you used for the original payment,
unless we expressly agree otherwise with you.
8. Reference to Terms & Conditions
This Cancellation Policy is a supplement to our
Terms & Conditions.
In the event of contradictions or interpretation issues, the provisions in the
German AGB take precedence.
For details on liability, payment terms, duties of passengers and applicable law,
please refer to our Terms & Conditions.
9. Applicable law
This Cancellation Policy is governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany.
In the event of any legal questions, the German wording and the German legal concepts
(Widerrufsrecht, Stornierung, AGB) are decisive.
